Wednesday 30 January 2008 by María Andrés Everything started five years ago, when we left the wonderful but crowded Edimburgh city looking for a quieter place to live.
We finished our trip in Baden, a calm village sited in the Golfe of Morbihan. As a neighbour says, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The canicule of 2003 was at its strongest. Thus, we installed ourselves between the trees, in the north side of a private field, well protected from the burning sun.

Contact us

If after visiting our website you feel like coming to the forest of PrimaTerra, you can do it whenever you want. In fact, we don’t have fences and you are welcome to come for a walk at any time of the year. The only thing we ask for is respect for nature. You will find us between Ploeren and Plougoumelen, on the road to Meriadec.
On the other hand, the meadow is our private area and it is always closed to the public. Visiting what we are doing there is only possible by appointment.
If you can’t come around but you would like to write or phone us to speak in detail about our job or (...)

Who we are

PrimaTerra’s forest is a private natural space in the south-west of Breizh (Britanny, France). A long time ago, it was a pine woodland, which has been gradually transformed into a forest of broad-leaved trees with a high number of native species and some others.
Nowadays, it is in our hands to continue doing of this wonderful environment a refuge for nature, saving and promoting the biodiversity, looking for and using alternative energies and techniques of sustainable agriculture, allowing us to get integrated in the life of this forest and become self-sufficient beings.
